A portugál mezzoszoprán, Helena Ressurreição előadóművészként Barcelonában nőtt fel, ahol ének- (Conservatori del Liceu) és Lied Master fokozatot (ESMUC) szerzett – Fundación Victoria de Los Ángeles ösztöndíjjal. Debütált a Teatro de la Maestranza-ban, a Gran Teatre del Liceu-ban és a Teatro de la Zarzuelában is. A „La Fura dels Baus” produkció címszerepét vállalta. Énekelt a Spanyol Rádió és Televízió Zenekarral, az ORTVE-vel, a Real Filharmonía de Galícia-val, az Orquestra de Menorca-val, az Orquestra XXI-el, az Orquestra Sinfonietta de Braga-val, az Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Málaga-val, az Orquesta Sinfónica Victoria de Los Ángeles-el, a Fundación Comique-al (MaperaÒis Juan March), dalestet adott a L’Auditori-val (Barcelona) és Schubertíada-val (Vilabertrán). A „LIFE Victoria Lied Festival” rezidens művészeként debütált az Oxfordi Dalfesztiválon. Részt vett a Festival de Música Contemporânea ADDA, a Festival della Valle d’Itria és a Festival Emergents rendezvényein (koncertet adott Francisco Poyatoval), valamint beválasztották a Leeds-i Dalfesztivál „Fiatal Művészek Programjába” és az „Accademia del Belcanto Rodolfo Celletti” programjába. 1. díjat nyert a „Juventudes Musicales de España” versenyen. Felvette az Atenaine Highlights-t (zene: Caladara) az Ensemble Contratemps-szel, illetve a L’Andalousie au Coeur albumot (Pauline Viardot spanyol repertoárjának szerkesztésével), Natalia Labourdette és Francisco Soriano mellett az Odradek Records kiadónál. Hamarosan Alisa lesz Lucia di Lamermoorban a Teatro Principal de Zaragoza-ban, és Mércèdes a Carmenben a „Fundació Òpera Catalunya” produkcióban.
Carmen Santamaría Castro Urdiales-ban született, 1987-ben. Tanulmányait a baszkföldi Musikene-en, a budapesti Liszt Ferenc Zeneakadémián és a barcelonai ESMUC-on végezte. Az ESMUC-nél folytatta a Lied tanszéken együttműködő zongoristaként, ideiglenesen Lied professzorként. Tanulmányaiban jelentős szerepet játszott Miguel Ituarte, Kemenes András, Gulyás Márta, Wagner Rita és Francisco Poyato. Sőt, többek között Szergej Yerokhintól, Almudena Canotól, Claudio Martínez-Mehnertől, Hartmut Hölltől, Wolfram Riegertől, Rohmann Imrétől, Kennedy Morettitől vagy Kocsis Zoltántól kapott tanácsokat. Olyan helyszíneken és fesztiválokon lépett fel Európában és Amerikában, mint a Schubertiade, a Quincena musical donostiarra, a Palacio de Festivales of Cantabria, a Centro Botín, a Festival Monteleón, a Várnai Zenei Fesztivál, a Benczúr Ház (Budapest), a Crick Institut (London) vagy a Teatro Helénico (Mexikó). Együttműködött Inés García képzőművésszel a Winterreise című filmjében és a „Seis canciones populares montañesas” utcai installációban. Fellépett az Ensemble instrumentales de Catambria-val, az ESAS művészeti egyesület tagja. Cristina Barceló, Ana Fontecha valamint Esteban Sanz műveit is bemutatta. Diszkográfiája magában foglalja az „Arturo Dúo Vital: una voz en blanco y negro” (2020) című CD-t, amely női zeneszerzők dalainak válogatásalbuma (2022), mindkettőt Mireia Tarragó szopránnal, valamint az ESAS együttessel megjelent „Dance of change” című albumot, az Oso polita kiadó gondozásában, amely a kortárs és az elektronikus zene fúziója.

Portuguese mezzosoprano Helena Ressurreição grew as a performer in Barcelona, where she studied her Singing Degree (Conservatori del Liceu) and a Lied Master Degree (ESMUC) – with the Fundación Victoria de Los Ángeles scholarship. Debuted at Teatro de la Maestranza, Gran Teatre del Liceu and Teatro de la Zarzuela. Assumed the title role at a ‘La Fura dels Baus’ production. Sang with Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, ORTVE, Real Filharmonía de Galícia, Orquestra de Menorca, Orquestra XXI, Orquestra Sinfonietta de Braga, Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Málaga and Orquesta Sinfónica Victoria de Los Ángeles and offered song recitals at Fundación Juan March (Madrid), Òpera Comique (Paris), L’Auditori (Barcelona) and Schubertíada (Vilabertrán). As resident artist of “LIFE Victoria Lied Festival”, debuted at the Oxford Lieder Festival. Was part of Festival de Música Contemporânea ADDA, Festival della Valle d’Itria, Festival Emergents -in a recital with Francisco Poyato- and was selected for the Leeds Lieder ‘Young Artists Programme’ and the ‘Accademia del Belcanto Rodolfo Celletti’. Was winner of the 1st prize in the ‘Juventudes Musicales de España’ contest. Recorded Atenaine Highlights (music by Caladara) with ‘Ensemble Contratemps’ and the album L’Andalousie au Coeur (inedit Pauline Viardot’s spanish repertoire) alongside Natalia Labourdette and Francisco Soriano, for the label Odradek Records. Soon will be Alisa in Lucia di Lamermoor in a production of the Teatro Principal de Zaragoza and Mércèdes in Carmen at a production of ‘Fundació Òpera Catalunya’.
Carmen Santamaría is born in Castro Urdiales, 1987. She studied at Musikene in Basque Country, Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest and ESMUC in Barcelona. She continued at Esmuc as a collaborative pianist with the Lied department, getting a temporary position as Lied professor. In her studies had a substantial roll Miguel Ituarte, András Kemenes, Márta Gulyás, Rita Wagner y Francisco Poyato. Moreover, she received advice by Sergei Yerokhin, Almudena Cano, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Hartmut Höll, Wolfram Rieger, Imre Rohmann, Kennedy Moretti or Zoltán Kocsis, among others. She performed at venues and festivals in Europe and America, such as Schubertiade, Quincena musical donostiarra, Palacio de Festivales of Cantabria, Centro Botín, Festival Monteleón, Varna Music Festival, Benczúr Ház (Budapest), Crick Institut (London) or Teatro Helénico (Mexico). She collaborated with visual artist Inés García in her film Winterreise and her street installation ”Seis canciones populares montañesas”. Performes with Ensemble instrumental de Cantabria –Enseic and Empowered and Sustanaible Artistic Sorority – ESAS. Carmen has premiered pieces by Cristina Barceló, Ana Fontecha and Esteban Sanz.Her discography includes the CD “Arturo Dúo Vital: una voz en blanco y negro” (2020), a compilation of songs by women composers (2022), both with soprano Mireia Tarragó, and, with ESAS ensemble, “Dance of change” under Oso polita label, a fusion of contermporary and electronic music.
