Nemzetközi öko divatbemutató

A divatbemutatón az Air France, a #GSFW és a Haynes show kiemelt támogatójának színeiben készült ruhákat is be fog mutatni és együtt ünnepli a közönséggel Budapesten a fenntartható divatban eltöltött 15 éves jubileumát.

Tanzániából egy különleges látvány világot teremtő tervező, Diana Magesa érkezik a különleges kollekciójával. A tervező számára a környezet védelme, az óceáni hulladékok újrahasznosítása, a már kidobásra ítélt anyagokból az értékteremtés a divatban kiemelten fontos, ilyen koncepcióval készülnek a ruhái és a kiegészítői az afrikai színvilágot idézve és ottani textilnyomásokat is felhasználva.

A magyar fenntartható és környezetre, állatvédelemre odafigyelő tervezők közül, két kitűnő tervező kollekcióját látjuk a kifutón.

Megla Rózsa a NAVONA Fashion alapítója és tervezője, a fenntartható divat elkötelezettje, akinek sztárok viselik ruháit több mint 80 magazin címlapján. „Szenvedéllyel, hittel, lelkesedéssel végzem a hivatásomat, hogy a Világ egy jobb hely legyen, hisz az élet egy megújuló körforgás a maga csodás mindennapjaival”. Évek óta a természetes, fenntartható anyagválasztás, zero waste, hulladékcsökkentő szabás mellett keresi az innovatív megoldásokat is, hogy a ruhái nemcsak elegánsak, jól viselhetők, de mindig újszerűek és különlegesek is legyenek. Idén szeretné az innováció oldaláról is megközelíteni a 8th#GSFW „Fenntartható és körforgásos divat: A hagyományoktól az innovációig” kérdését, kapcsolódva a június 6-i nemzetközi konferencia témáihoz.

Zimits Andrea a márka tulajdonosa és alkotója, ruhatervező iparművész. Munkájával a slow-fashion irányvonalát követi. Lételeme az alkotó munka, minden egyes darabnál a tökéletességre törekszik, ezért nem ad ki egyetlen részmunkát sem, minden munkafolyamatot maga végez. A 8th#GSFW divatbemutatójára a már nagysikerű Pigeon kollekcióját bővítette, amely az apró részletekre való odafigyelés, kézművesség, a témához illő forma, színvilág és anyagválasztás mesteri ötvözete. Állatvédőként szép és kedves madarakként ábrázolja a szürke városi galambokat is, hiszen főleg a fehér békegalambról szoktunk megemlékezni, de a különleges anyagok, finom színek, és egyedi, antik kiegészítők, csipkék, gombok, gyöngyök segítségével a ruhákon keresztül mutatja be, hogy a szürke galambok is ékessé válhatnak a megfelelő környezetben.

This year’s guest of honour at the 8th Global Sustainable Fashion Week (GSFW) will be American designer Justin Hayes, a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America, who is famous for his JUS10H brand, which includes upcycled men’s and women’s ready-to-wear. In addition to showing his collections twice a year at New York Fashion Week, his work is also featured at Paris Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week and Miami Fashion Week. He has been a cover artist for Rolling Stone Magazine, Forbes, Men’s Health, Billboard Magazine, Vogue Teen, and Hip-Hop Magazine and her fans include some of America’s biggest celebrities. At the fashion show, he will also showcase clothes in the colours of Air France, #GSFW and the Haynes show’s chosen sponsor and celebrate with the audience in Budapest his 15th anniversary in sustainable fashion.

From Tanzania, a designer who creates a world of extraordinary visuals, Diana Magesa, will be presenting her special collection. For the designer, respecting the environment, using and recycling oceanic waste and creating value in fashion from materials that are already destined to be thrown away are high priorities, and this is the concept behind her clothes and accessories, which are inspired by African colours and use local textile prints.

Among Hungarian sustainable, environmentally conscious and animal-friendly designers, we can see the collections of two excellent designers on the catwalk.

Megla Rózsa is the founder and designer of NAVONA Fashion, a sustainable fashion advocate whose clothes are worn by stars on the covers of more than 80 magazines. „I do my job with passion, faith, and enthusiasm to make the world a better place, because life is a renewing cycle with its wonderful everyday life”. For years, she has been looking for innovative solutions to make her clothes not only stylish and sustainable, but innovative and unique, in addition to natural, sustainable material choices, zero waste and waste-reducing tailoring. This year, she also wants to approach the 8th#GSFW „Sustainable and Circular Fashion: from Tradition to Innovation” from an innovation perspective, linking to the themes of the international conference on 6th June too.

Andrea Zimits is a dress artist, the owner and creator of the brand. Her work follows the slow-fashion trend. Her premise is to work creatively, striving for excellence in every piece, therefore she does not give out any part of the work, she does all the work herself. Andrea Zimits has extended her already successful Pigeon collection for this occasion, a masterful blend of attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the right shape, colour and material choices to match the theme. As an animal protectionist, she also depicts the urban grey pigeon as a pretty and lovely bird, as we tend to remember the white frog pigeon. Still, through the use of special fabrics, subtle colours, unique antique accessories, lace, buttons and beads, she shows through the clothes that grey pigeons can also become a jewel in the right environment
