Rose Bishop nemzetközi díjnyertes fuvolaművész, zenekari zenészként, pedagógusként és tanárként dolgozik Iowában. Trevor James fuvola előadóművészeként fellépett szerte az Egyesült Államokban, valamint nemzetközi szinten, vendégszólistaként Peruban, Kanadában, Belgiumban, az Egyesült Királyságban, Franciaországban, Svájcban, Ausztriában, Németországban és Olaszországban. Aktív zenekari zenészként szolgál a Délkelet-Iowai Szimfonikus Quincy Szimfonikus Zenekar vezető fuvolistájaként és a Dubuque Szimfonikus Zenekar második fuvolistájaként, valamint több Észak- és Dél-Amerika zenekarral is fellépett már. Rose Bishop ugyanilyen elkötelezett a zeneoktatás iránt. A fuvola oktatója a St. Ambrose Egyetemen, a Coe College-ban, a Cornell College-ban és a Kirkwood Community College-ban. A közösség megszólítása iránt elkötelezett Bishop a Flute Faculte, az Eastern Iowa Flute Workshop és a Cornell College Summer Flute Camp alapítója és művészeti igazgatója, valamint gyakori munkatársa a Flute Talk, a Flute View, a Flutist Quarterly és a Flute Examiner Magazines kiadványoknak. International prize-winning flutist Rose Bishop enjoys a career as an orchestral musician, pedagogue, and teacher based in Iowa. A Trevor James Flute Performing Artist, she has performed across the United States, as well as internationally as a guest soloist in Peru, Canada, Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Italy.
An active orchestral musician, she serves as Principal Flute of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Quincy Symphony Orchestras and Acting Second Flute with the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with orchestras across North and South America. Equally committed to music education, Rose Bishop is the Instructor of Flute at St. Ambrose University, Coe College, Cornell College, and Kirkwood Community College.
Dedicated to community outreach, Bishop is the Flute Faculty, Founder and Artistic Director of the Eastern Iowa Flute Workshop and the Cornell College Summer Flute Camp, and is a frequent contributor to Flute Talk, the Flute View, the Flutist Quarterly and the Flute Examiner Magazines. Bishop serves as a member of the National Flute Association’s Career and Artistic Development Committee and is a Trevor James Alto Flute Artist. Dr. David Cyzak (*si-zak) az Iowai Egyetem oboaprofesszora és a Délkelet-Iowai Szimfonikus Zenekar oboaművésze. Az „OboeSpeak” néven van jelen a TikTok-on, Instagram-on és YouTube-on, ahol az oboát illetve klasszikus zenét szórakoztató videókkal mutatja be. Az új művek komponálását, valamint a kimondott szó és a zene ötvözésének új módozatainak megtalálását tovább vitte doktori kutatása, amely Vinko Globokar Atemstudie & Discours III című művének fejlett vokális és hangszeres technikáit tárta fel. Dr. Cyzak elsődleges tudományos területe a zeneipar tantervének elkészítése és oktatása, amely támogatja a zenészeket a sikeres karrier biztosításában a több milliárd dolláros zeneiparban és környékén. Az eredetileg Kenosha államból (USA, Wisconsin) származó Cyzak az Illinoisi Egyetemen szerzett doktori fokozatot az Urbana-Champaign államban, ahol John Dee-vel tanult. Zenei mesterfokozatot és művészdiplomát a The Hartt School-ban kapott, Humbert Lucarelli vezetésével, valamint a Bachelor of Music-ot az Oberlin College Conservatory of Music-ban szerezte, James Caldwell, Robert Walters és Alex Klein mellett.

Dr. David Cyzak (*si-zak) is the Oboe Professor at the University of Iowa and Principal Oboist with the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra. “OboeSpeak” is the handle for his TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube presence for fun videos that explore the Oboe and Classical music. Composing new works and finding new ways to combine spoken word and music was driven further by his doctoral research, which explored the advanced vocal and instrumental techniques of Vinko Globokar’s Atemstudie & Discours III.
Dr. Cyzak’s primary academic area involves creating and teaching Music Industry curriculum that supports musicians in securing a successful career in and around the multi-billion-dollar Music Industry. Originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA, Cyzak received his Doctorate from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying with John Dee. He received a Master of Music and Artist Diploma from The Hartt School under the tutelage of Humbert Lucarelli and a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, where he studied with James Caldwell, Robert Walters, and Alex Klein.
